Kathleen Dougherty, DVM

Dr. Kathleen Dougherty has been a part of the Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital team since 2003. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with honors, and then went on to pursue a DVM degree from Michigan State University in 2003, again graduating with honors. Dr. Dougherty has an interest in general veterinary medicine.

Born and raised 'Black and Gold,' Dr. Dougherty was born the same year the Pittsburgh Steelers won their first back-to-back Superbowl Championships. Needless to say, she's a HUGE Steelers fan! She now resides in Beaver County with her cat Grissom and Conner, a English Cocker Spaniel. She is also a freshwater aquarist and designed and maintains the planted fish tank in our hospital's lobbby. She has over 20 aquariums of her own filled with a variety of many colorful fish and water plants.
